User experience is an important part of my education, and something I find essential to focus on within all fields of multimedia design. Through learning more about UX-design, I also learned a lot about the business aspect of multimedia design by working with business model canvas and creating my own fictional business to see what goes into that. UX-design is something I find especially valuable in frontend development, which is what I am most interested in.
This task was about creating our own digital agency, built around the business model canvas. Our agency ReKreate focuses on sustainable solutions.
Our digital service MonTree is budget/receipt-saving app created mainy for students and for a sustainable future.
In this project we had our first real client; Youth for Understanding. They wanted help attracting a younger target audience (age 18-25 years), and make them want to go a year abroad after finishing high school. We went to Roskilde Gymnasium to gather information about the students daily habits and interests, and used the data we gathered to redesign their website and create a campaign.
This dynamic prototype was created to show the curriculum of our programme in a simple way, for new students to explore. We created a JSON file and fetched in our design, and did extensive tests to create a design fitting the target group.
